My name is Zoey Padowicz.
My path into this work began through personal experience. After navigating chronic illness and the loss of my father in my mid-twenties, I was led to acupuncture as a way to heal and reconnect with my body.
Before pursuing acupuncture, I served in the United States Army for eight and a half years. That experience shaped my understanding of resilience, stress, and the importance of support during challenging times. It is especially meaningful for me to work with and support fellow veterans. I hope to one day collaborate with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to help make this care more accessible.
In 2018, I moved to Asheville to attend a four-year Master’s program at Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts. In 2022, I earned my Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) degree and became board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
I am currently licensed by the North Carolina Acupuncture Licensing Board (NCALB).
My training integrates both modern (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and classical approaches, allowing for a more personalized and holistic treatment experience. I also received my Reiki Level 1 certification in 2019, which naturally aligns with my approach to care.
In early 2023 I moved to Sevilla, Spain with the intention of opening a practice. During that time, life took an unexpected turn, and I became a caregiver for both my aging mother and my dog. This experience deepened my understanding of what it means to support others through difficult transitions, while also learning to care for myself.
After nearly three years abroad, I felt called to return home and create a practice rooted in presence, care, and genuine connection. The concept of mobile Acupuncture feels in alignment with my love to travel.
I believe that you are your own healer. My role is to provide the tools and support to help guide you through whatever challenges you may be facing. I know what it feels like to sense that something in your body is out of balance and to not feel heard.
It is my intention to create a space where you feel supported, listened to, and empowered in your healing process, while allowing the body the opportunity to restore balance naturally.
